The Independent Schools Inspectorate is responsible for the objective assessment of provision across independent education. Awarding an excellent grade the highest possible attainment - their most recent inspection of Merchant Taylors School showcases the amazing work done by the teachers and support staff at Taylors and the fantastic outcomes gained through the hard work of our pupils.

Academic Achievement
- "Pupils make rapid progress in their academic studies. This is a result of a strong desire to succeed in public examinations combined with high expectations from teachers, school managers and governors."
- "Pupils spoke of the positive impact the feedback from teachers has on their learning, and of not being afraid to ask for help due to the open culture that exists."
Personal Development
- "Pupils spiritual understanding is excellent. They reflect through activities such as yoga, music and artistic activities The school offers grounds which are well used beyond the classroom as an environment that helps pupils to be calm and create opportunities to stop and think."
